Creative Landfill Diversion Practices: Furniture & Solar Modules

Reusing things is the trendy and budget wise thing to do. Hear stories from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts about their successes in the diverse fields of interior furnishings and solar modules.

When the Future of Work suddenly involves a hybrid work model, how do you reuse as much possible when the needs of the workplace have changed? Learn how the Interior Planning & Design group adapted, refreshed, and updated where their employees work. With a lot of interior design imagination, listen to how they avoided sending 490+ tons of material from going to the landfill.

Looming much more slowly is the end of life for the 2 million pounds of solar modules installed across the state. DCAMM’s Energy team will share stories about reuse successes and opportunities uncovered while working with a 76 solar array portfolio.
